Casablanca Sandwicherie 카사블랑카 샌드위치

I am happy to say that I found such a great little  place in HBC (which is right outside of Yongsan’s Pottery Gate), with the help of some friends. The owners are brothers and they also own a little Moroccan restaurant across the street. This is the second time I have been here and it doesn’t disappoint. I dragged my picky husband with me (even though he told me he didn’t like Moroccan food) but, I knew darn well he didn’t like it because he has never tried it! I was right to drag him in, because as I suspected he liked it too. I know him so well 🙂  I guess this means I get to go more often…yay! Let me tell you this  food is amazing. My husband had the Moroccan Chicken sandwich and I had Veggie Shaksuka (without the egg). Shahsuka is a little tomato sauce dish that is served bubbling hot. There is some sort of yummy fried rice balls inside and then it’s smothered in cheesy goodness. They have a few varieties for those who aren’t going the veggie route. There is  minced lamb, chicken and shrimp and it’s served with a lot of bread so you can mop up the extra sauce. Oh, by the way, it’s usually served with egg, but I get it without…trust me on this place…it’s Amazing!
